A system of numbered climbing trails lead up the inclines of Takaosan. The larger part of guests utilization trail number 1, which is expansive, basically cleared and passes the majority of the significant destinations as it winds its way to the highest point of the 599 meter high summit. Alternate trails are smaller, unpaved and see fundamentally less activity. The trek to the highest point of Mount Takao along trail number 1 takes around an hour and a half from the base of the mountain, yet that time can be sliced down the middle by using the cablecar or seat lift that lead most of the way up the mountain.
